American electronic duo Jack Ü is the side project of EDM giants <a href="spotify:artist:5fMUXHkw8R8eOP2RNVYEZX">Diplo</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5he5w2lnU9x7JFhnwcekXX">Skrillex</a>, with the pair combining to create a mixture of house, dubstep, and trap. After collaborating on numerous projects, including <a href="spotify:artist:5he5w2lnU9x7JFhnwcekXX">Skrillex</a>'s appearance on <a href="spotify:artist:5fMUXHkw8R8eOP2RNVYEZX">Diplo</a>'s <a href="spotify:artist:738wLrAtLtCtFOLvQBXOXp">Major Lazer</a> project and <a href="spotify:artist:5fMUXHkw8R8eOP2RNVYEZX">Diplo</a>'s credits on <a href="spotify:artist:5he5w2lnU9x7JFhnwcekXX">Skrillex</a>'s Bangarang EP and full-length Recess, the pair made their first appearance together at the Mad Decent Block Party in 2013. They went on to play a host of festivals together, mixing varied sets of music, and eventually recorded some original material. The resulting single, "Take Ü There" with <a href="spotify:artist:4zxvC7CRGvggq9EWXOpwAo">Kiesza</a> on vocals, was released in 2014. Their debut full-length arrived a year later.
