Djoser is the musical alias of DC-based, Egyptian-born producer Shady Daoud. Drawing from his dubstep background and study of Nubian music, Daoud has released several singles and remixes over the past few years with a consistent focus on bass and percussion. Djoser is also a DJ and member of L.E.N.G., who promote club and bass music events in Washington, DC.
In 2019, Djoser joined Martyn’s 3024 label and released the track “Wera” on the FYE3 compilation. He returned to the label in 2020 to release his “Secret Greeting” EP.
