Mastering all the intricacies of the craft behind the scenes as a producer and engineer, on stage as an artist and performer, and smack dab in the middle as a songwriter and arranger, across the archipelago of The Bahamas, DMAC is characterized as a genius. His music roots are deep-seated in a rich Christian heritage. The son of a Pastor, DMAC grew up in the church where he evolved into a Musician, Choir Director and Minister of Music. Multiple overlapping gifts gave him the ability to easily transition between genres. During his career, D MAC has worked with Reggae, R&B, Rap and Gospel artists, but his heart belongs to the sound of The Bahamas - Rake ‘n’ Scrape - and his love for Bahamian culture is embedded in his lyrics and in the infectious Rake n Scrape & Junkanoo beats he infuses in every D MAC song.

An award winning artist - 2013 and 2015 recipient of The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Cacique Award for Best Songwriter and The People’s Choice Award; recipient of the first ever Bahamian Icon Award for Best Entertainer - DMAC has performed at major national events in The Bahamas including - 2013 CARIFTA Games opening ceremony in The Bahamas; the opening of historic The Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau performing in front of millions of television viewers across Caribbean; 2016 and 2017 Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Festival in Nassau; DMAC has shared his brand of music with audiences in Dubai, Trinidad, Zimbabwe, Canada and throughout The United States.
