Doctor Jaymoe

James Maring, known by his Stage Name Doctor Jaymoe, is South Sudanese Afro Pop Artist born in Uganda but grew up in Refugee Camp in Kenya where he started his journey in music. He was born on January 1st, 1994. He was resettled in the United States in 2012. He now resides in Boston, Massachusetts where he does his recording. Has released one Album titled "The Love Criminal" and some singles. He is currently working on finishing his second album which is set to drop next year (2025). He has worked various artists, some local and including the famous Ugandan Artist King Saha who was feature in his album "The Love Criminal."

Doctor Jaymoe's taste for music is inspired by the Tanzanian Music Genre, Bongo Flava. Musically, Jaymoe is raised by Tanzanian music and inspired the famous Diamond Platinumz although he was earlier inspired by Ali Kiba. Jaymoe's goal is to put South Sudan on the Global Map Musically. While in the United States Doctor Jaymoe attended Salem State University where he majored in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Chemistry. He slowed down his music so that he can earn his Bachelors Degree, which he did in 2020.
