A ramshackle, London-based noise-punk quartet in the vein of <a href="spotify:artist:1gxXzfykdtDuod56hPkYyr">Art Brut</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0otAqZw8htTsGHfqR491Yh">Sleaford Mods</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6WAtFnwKXtsZBvVVONWrYM">Ex Models</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:23NIwARd4vPbxt3wwNnJ6k">Parquet Courts</a>, Dog Chocolate was formed in 2014 by the surname-hating Jono (drums), Matthew (guitar, pedals), Rob (guitar), and Andrew (keyboard). The group's first LP was a 2014 split with post-punk noisemakers <a href="spotify:artist:1dxkfoHhbWapb3nQimGk6b">Ravioli Me Away</a>, which was released by London indie <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Upset+the+Rhythm%22">Upset the Rhythm</a>. In 2016, the band issued their official, non-split debut long player, Snack Fans, again via <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Upset+the+Rhythm%22">Upset the Rhythm</a>.
