Austrian folk-pop musician Dominik Ofner was born on November 9, 1989 in Voitsberg in Styria, and in 2011 became known through the first season of the ORF TV show Die Große Chance, where he sang his own song "A Wahnsinn mit Dir (Du G'heast zu Mir)" (Crazy for You [You Belong to Me]), accompanying himself on the accordion. Ultimately, Ofner, who was still working in a shop at the time, was knocked out in the third semifinal, but still secured a deal with Ariola, which released his debut album, Zwoa (Two), in 2013. The album included the single "Liab Mi oder Loss Mi" (Love Me or Leave Me), which was written by Die Seer frontman Fred Jaklitsch. ~ John D.
