Don Carroll

Ron Carroll is probably most recognized for his vocals on traditional Chicago house tracks rather than his DJing. <a href="spotify:artist:0zDDoKS1groXaQXVBz6FHU">Carroll</a> has been around since the early days of the Chicago house sound, DJing and singing alongside recognized names such as <a href="spotify:artist:63yl9nDNrHpiAYGlNJxxjc">Frankie Knuckles</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Tvhj4mF2pvvAT1InLbRKs">Kim English</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2sd9Q3r0Jhqpe3w9WVuG43">Crystal Waters</a>. In 1994, <a href="spotify:artist:0zDDoKS1groXaQXVBz6FHU">Carroll</a>'s big chance came when he was asked by Little Louie Vega to write a song for house diva vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:6txh5tFMJyxSwT0iE7wX2w">Barbara Tucker</a>. The track was the Billboard Dance Chart topper "I Get Lifted" and was followed by a couple successful singles in the years to follow.
