Don McCloskey is an American singer-songwriter, producer and performing artist who blends elements of folk, rock, Americana, soul, electronica and pop into a sonic universe all his own.
His newest album, The Chaos and The Beauty was released in April 2022. The first single from the record, First in Flight, was prominently featured in the season 2 finale of Mythic Quest : Raven's Banquet on Apple+ and has been streamed over 3 million times. In their review of the album, Americana Highways said, "Every now & then there’s a singer that has versatile talent, intriguing music, a good voice & magic. Don is a magician."
McCloskey has toured extensively sharing stages with a wide array of artists from Raekwon, The Roots, Amos Lee, G Love and Special Sauce, Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price and the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. His songs have appeared in the Academy Award-winning film Bowling for Columbine as well as on radio, television, and podcasts.
McCloskey and his eight-piece band are coming off a string of festival appearances, an NPR Live Session, a series of sold-out shows in their hometown of Philadelphia and a two night stand at Radio City Music Hall opening for the It’s Always Sunny Podcast.
