DOPAMOON, the musical creation of Virgile Allien and Francesca Veneziana return the first colors of its upcoming album through three singles like three bursts of light. From an anthem to unbreakable friendship, to a Neapolitan escape infused with Italo Disco heat, and a glamorous disco-pop adrenaline shot, the Parisian duo sketches a blazing universe where everything calls for connection, movement and euphoria.
The Parisian producer duo continue their global adventure collaborating with a colourful array of artists: DOPALOVA draws together artists from Japan (Kumisolo), the UK (Rocket Mike), India (Tracy de Sá, Soom T), Canada (Francesca Blanchard), the USA (Daemon), Brazil (João Selva) and Mali (Sira Niamé)… in addition to new friends made along the way from France (Romain Muller, Napkey).
With an underlying psychedelic groove (thundering bass, rousing percussion and glistening guitar) the duo have been able to formulate a truly international sound shaped by the idiosyncrasies of their chosen collaborations. In transforming their home studio into a club, where a warm and carefree attitude are all that’s needed to enter, DOPAMOON have managed the feat of creating an alien soundtrack for those of us still on earth: a dance music that’s organic, modern but not electronic; of this world, yet at the same time not. Everything is improvised and yet everything fits together just as it should, held together under the influence of some miraculous new substance.
