Dr. F. James Clark is a pastor and choir leader based at the Shalom Church (City of Peace) in the St. Louis suburb of Florissant, Missouri. Clark founded the church in 1993 but he didn't release his first album, Simply Amazing, until 2015, after which Clark and the Shalom Church (City of Peace) Mass Choir became a regular recording act.
A native of the St. Louis area, Freddy James Clark decided to dedicate his life to the Lord when he was a teenager attending Sumner High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy from Dallas' Bishop College, but he returned to St. Louis so he could finish his education at Eden Theological Seminary. In 1993, he founded his Shalom Church (City of Peace), and over the next two decades the church grew by leaps and bounds.
Dr. F. James Clark, along with the Shalom Church (City of Peace) Mass Choir, released their first CD, Simply Amazing, in 2015. The record reached number three on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, with "We Praise Your Name" and "He's Been Good" charting on Billboard's Gospel BDS Radio chart.
