Dreamtigers is a long-running project of Defeater guitarist Jake Woodruff and drummer Joe Longobardi, with Phil Jamieson (Caspian) and Andrew Gary. Their latest record, Ellapsis, is mixed by Will Yip (Nothing, Lauren Hill, Caspian & Defeater) and finds them joined by Aisha Burns (Balmorhea).
Over their tenure, the group has completed 150+ shows, playing with The Appleseed Cast, Des Ark, Into it Over It, TWIABP, Aisha Burns, Stephen Brodsky, The Menzingers, Raquet Club, and O'brother. Woodruff has also done a solo tour of Dreamtigers material opening for Aisha Burns in Europe. They have released 3 EPs and a full length on a variety of labels in North America, Europe, and Australia, most of which can be found at https://dreamtigers.bandcamp.com/
This latest EP, the first with the current lineup, finds a band that has hit its stride combining the vocal melody and harmony that launched the project with the gritty soundscapes of their other endeavors. Stay tuned for more.
