DrewJam is a UK-based singer-songwriter whose emotive songwriting, intricate guitar work, and heartfelt vocals are earning him increasing acclaim. Drawing from a wide palette of influences—from Sting and Mark Knopfler to Coldplay—DrewJam blends the melodic clarity of classic rock with modern indie sensibilities and lyrical vulnerability.
A classically trained pianist and guitarist, DrewJam’s music stands out for its depth and elegance. Originally from Manchester and now based in Baldock, England, he crafts songs that explore love, loss, and resilience. His 2025 single Friends with a Fool marked a key creative high point, described as “a wistful combination of classic rock, pop-rock, and a charming hint of soul”. Critics praised it as “full of emotion and musical depth,” with “soaring guitar solos” and “lyrics that hit you right in your heart.”
His follow up, the new single Holding Fast released on 18 July 2025 is the most emotionally resonant track he's released so far. A rock ballad that meditates on love, memory, and quiet resilience, built around simple chords on the piano, starting quietly and building into a powerful, layered soundscape . The song captures the ache of nostalgia and the strength it takes to hold yourself together in moments of loss or romantic unraveling. The song was produced between his home studio and London Road Studios in Baldock, with sound engineering and mixing by Max Hopwood and climatic drums from Hitchin based drummer, Ross Gardner.
