Duane Stowes is an R&B soul artist, producer and songwriter from S.E. Washington D.C. His smooth delivery and witty hooks gives his music a laid back vibe and conscious feel.
At the age of 6, Duane taught himself how to play piano while watching his grandmother play and quickly gained the passion for music and songwriting. Duane is heavily influenced by gospel, R&B, soul and hip hop music. He learned the art of storytelling from artist such as Babyface, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson.
Duane landed a deal in the 90's with Hip Hop legend Kay Gee from the legendary rap group Naughty by Nature and recorded a successful Christmas single alongside R&B group N.E.X.T. and songwriter Gordan Chambers. Since 2004 Duane has combined the sounds of 90's R&B with current R&B and has blazed a trail for his music career every since.
