By the age of 26, Megumi Hope has come a long way since she first started writing music in her teens. From the far North of England, Dub Princess has adventured on an odyssey of musical creation and expression for the world, through street busking and internet notoriety.
With over 100 million plays and streams on her songs across Youtube, Spotify and Soundcloud, she has evolved along a slalom of collaborations with some of the most respected artists in the underground hip-hop, dub/reggae, and electronic music scenes. (Jurassic 5's Charlie 2na, OKA, Dub FX, Okuli and Isaac Chambers)
2019 was a great year for Dub Princess to flourish through a string of critically acclaimed live shows; with main stage slots at Ozora, Rainbow Serpent, and Earth Frequency Festival. Further performances on Glastonbury's legendary Glade Stage and Boomtown's Psy Forest reinforced her popularity with crowds all over the planet.
Scheduled for release in 2021 to coincide with her Summer tour, Dub Princess is currently working on her first solo studio album as well as working with legendary New York imprint De Wolfe Music USA (est. 1909), one of the world's oldest record labels.
