Following the release of their debut album 'Embrace The Lunar Age', that blended black metal with doom and folk influences, and its successor 'Night Sky Revelations' that saw a more intense musicality, the cult has assembled once again for a third offering entitled 'Folklore Discipline'.
A subtle departure lyrically from their earlier works, the album focuses less on the night sky and instead delves more into the historical mythos of the project. It presents a stronger sense of narrative, purpose and the essence of the cult philosophy.
Featuring members from Be'lakor & Rainshadow, the duo was formed in order to create something darker and heavier than their previous projects.
While existing elements of the sound have been retained, previously unexplored elements have been introduced, and the resulting songs on ‘Folklore Discipline’ offer a new and emotive listening experience while remaining undeniably Dusk Cult.
