Ea Akilat is a project based around the creation of minimal, sensual, electronic & atmospheric music. Solitude & the open spaces of nature, help shape an approach to Ea's songwriting, music & production that contrast to the noise, and clutter, of a busy, always-on world. This project is an introspective journey of getting away from the noise & anxiety of today’s modern living.
A love of experimentation, a classical training and formative years spent playing with Logic & Ableton have led to a sound that is in equal parts ethereal electronica, full of glitchy found sound & meditative gently throbbing bass lines.
Organic instruments inform & twist these electronic soundscapes, with both the bass guitar & Ea Akilat's vocals adding another layer to the creative storytelling that weaves across the work.
