A Lincoln, Nebraska band that drew comparisons to such acts as Arcade Fire and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Eagle Seagull released their debut album -- a self titled affair -- on Paper Garden in 2006. The album was a hit in underground circles, so much so that the group found them on a number of Best of lists and Ones to Watch lists as 2006 drew to a close. Small German indie label Lado stepped in and made their debut available on a wide scale on that continent in October of 2006. A follow up was planned for release in 2008. ~ Chris True, Rovi
