OFFICERS emerged from Northern England's industrial landscape in 2006, forging an uncompromising fusion of electronic innovation and art rock rebellion. Their raw home recordings caught industry attention, leading to performances at Alan McGee's Death Disco and securing them Riverman Management (known for breaking Nirvana in the UK and managing Placebo).

At OFFICERS' core are Matthew Southall and James Baker, whose partnership with artist Stuart Semple creates a complete artistic universe beyond categorisation. Their signature sound - electronic experimentation, enduring melody and starcutting guitars - manifests through collaborations with Gary Numan, soundtracks for BBC Earth, The Blacklist, and their notorious "annihilation" remixes.

Their 2011 Rough Trade/PIAS debut "On The Twelve Thrones" earned Rock Sound's "Album of the Year," produced with Dave Bascombe (Depeche Mode, Suede, Tears for Fears) and John Davis (U2, Led Zeppelin). As CALM ambassadors, their Numan collaboration "Petals" reached #2 in Euro Charts while raising suicide prevention awareness.

OFFICERS' artistic vision extends to limited-edition physical releases that have become coveted collector's items. After working with Jagz Kooner (Massive Attack, Oasis, Primal Scream), Tim Holmes (Death In Vegas) and Ade Fenton (Numan), they return in 2025 with Client bassist Emily Mann, Dan IV (guitar) and Steven Metcalfe (synth/vox) to challenge, provoke and redefine the boundaries of electronic art rock fiction.
