The London-based singer Ed Thomas first came to prominence following his 2013 collaborations with <a href="spotify:artist:4qobOrZpdUri80gScwsHfs">Bondax</a> ("Giving It All") and <a href="spotify:artist:3jNkaOXasoc7RsxdchvEVq">Chase & Status</a> ("Blk & Blu"). Having previously worked with dubstep acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:3ceOFG1q86nQVpJliylpgA">Submotion Orchestra</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:12slUmcmRgXsKA2y6Y1660">Author</a>, and Planas in 2011 and 2012, the silky vocal skills of Thomas were reminiscent of his peers such as <a href="spotify:artist:34v5MVKeQnIo0CWYMbbrPf">John Newman</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2wY79sveU1sp5g7SokKOiI">Sam Smith</a>.
