– Forged in the flames of post-industrial America and quenched with the sweat of a thousand basement shows–Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Edhochuli has spent the past nearly decade and a half showcasing thier passionate and thought provoking approach to DIY. Initially formed as a 4-piece in 2009, the group has built a reputation as a relentlessly live, touring powerhouse, having spent much of their first 10 years on the road. Brandishing the underground like a mythic longsword, they've won over countless audiences throughout North America and Europe with their singular brand of progressive, angular, riff-drenched post-hardcore.
After a 7 year recording hiatus, the group has finally recorded their long awaited follow up to 2015's Dream Warriors. Engineered by Jon Nuñez (Torche/Shitstorm) at Sound Artillery Studios in Miami, FL – Higherlander boasts a greased up 2 drummer, 5-piece lineup. The result is an almost Homeric excursion through new heights melodic complexity as well sheer colossal heaviness.
