Winner of the Eurovision Song contest in 1996 with 'THE VOICE' (by Brendan Graham), Irish-born Quinn began with choral group ANUNA (with whom she recorded OMNIS and DEEP DEAD BLUE)
She left the group later that year to launch her first solo disc, WINTER FIRE AND SNOW -EP.
Eimear signed to DECCA Records and spent much of the following period preparing her debut album, 2001's THROUGH THE LENS OF A TEAR Produced and co-composed by former Clannad man Pól Brennan. The album brought her to the attention of Sir George Martin, who signed Quinn to his publishing company and teamed her with pianist Sarah Class.
Many successful collaborations are featured on the 2006 GATHERINGS - LP, including those with piper Carlos Núñez - Spanish hit single, YANN DERRIEN, and a single VOICE OF AN ANGEL with Liam Lawton (from his massively successful Another World album with EMI)
December 2007 saw the release O HOLY NIGHT - LP a collection of carols, ancient chants and new seasonal songs by Eimear, who also produced and arranged the album.
Quinn broke from recording to focus on Live performance after having children, with her only release being a single THE MOTHER (poem by Patrick Pearse) in 2016, for 1916 centenary of the Easter Rising.
2020 she released her much anticipated orchestral album ÉRIU - LP with the RTE Concert Orchestra.
2021 she released THE VOICE ‘a Capella’ for the 25th anniversary of her Eurovision victory, and also a single ‘WINTER SOLSTICE’ in December.
