Inspired by R&B legends like The Isley Brothers, Tank, (that one guy people get upset about when they hear his name which rhymes with Mar Jelly), Chris Brown and Michael Jackson, Eleaze isn't your typical new age R&B artist. He's not an old school one either. His penmanship is sexy, upbeat, heavy hearted at times, uncomfortably emotionally direct, yet always authentic.
When asked who he makes music for, Eleaze admits "I make music for people brave enough to let themselves FEEL. What they feel, only they and their experiences know. That's what makes people fall in love with an artist, or a song. It makes them feel like themselves and I'm just like the person listening. Maybe more handsome, taller and better smile, but other than that, we're the same."
