Roann is a San Diego-based artist beaming with passion and charisma. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ and Filipinx communities, she continues to develop her skills as a talented singer-songwriter, actress, and event producer. Roann took the internet by storm in 2022 when she teamed up with Jordan Hawkins for “Heaven On Earth,” a truly heartfelt single that garnered over a million streams in less than a year and reached international radio plays in the UK, Italy, and Asia. Her latest single “Love Doesn’t Live Here” features RL of the classic R&B trio Next, standing as another display of her impressive vocals. In addition to performances for the San Diego Padres, McDonalds x MYX Global, and Nema’s Boom Boom Room, Roann has also shared the stage with the likes of Ja Rule, Ashanti, and Mya.
Building upon features from Vibe Magazine, BBC Radio 1, and VH1, Roann reunited with Hibbett Sports and Jordan brand earlier this year for their Support Her Sole campaign, highlighting her career as a nurse, the importance of mental health, and how she navigates the music industry as a woman. As she expands her creative endeavors, Roann is dedicated to developing creative communities for minority youth throughout San Diego and beyond. “I’m doing it for the next generation of kids that look and are like me. I want to be the first full Filipina to break into the industry of mainstream music.”
