Elektroschneider

Elektroschneider was founded in September 2012 by the balkan-born, Tyrolean raised „Dr. Dr. Rufus Eargasm von und zu Schneider“ and „Lasse Nolti“ from Graz/Austria. In summer 2014 the 2 friends split up their creative ways and since then, Rufus Eargasm has been running the Elektroschneider show all by himself. Rufus’s musical journey began long before computers became daily routine in the studio. Being only 12 years old, back in 1995/96, he discovered the power of the MIDI-protocol by connecting his fathers’s keyboards and abusing the pattern-generator in order to make trancy live-techno. As the keyboards became better, the sound of his music that was recorded live onto minidisc, also sounded better.
Eventually Schneider moved away from the „straight“ Beat and started rapping and producing Hip Hop beats until the day he got infected by the fat and big sound of drum & bass at a party in Innsbruck. So in 2006 he started producing drum & bass as „Fistognosticated“ for 6 years. During this time a live drum & bass-Band called „Wiremayer & the Cableheads“ was also born. Eventually in 2012, while humanity was facing it’s possible extinction, the whole world changed, and so did Rufus’ life too. So he decided to take a break from the fast paced drum & bass, and went back to his straight roots once again – House & Techno.
In 2017 Schneider founded his own label „Kaffee & Kuchen“ in order to be truly independent and to release as much high quality music as possible.
