Elfheim is a folk metal band from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Alexandar Pletnyov (bass) and Ivan Zlatanov (keyboards, guitar) set the foundation of a new band, with a defined concept, later inviting Lyubomir Stoyanov to contribute with vocals. In this line-up, the trio pays homage to the pagan heritage, its music being inspired by the Nordic history and mythology, the clash between the beliefs of old and the Christian invasion, as well as everything that is both dark and cold.
