Eli is a hiphop Emcee and Songwriter based in Makati City, Philippines aiming to create projects that will have a permanent impact on music as a whole shying away from the viral appeal that most artists go for in the age of information.
Co-founding the now collective “Longhaul Global Comms.” along with Indio Lahingbilad in 2019, he boasts a long track record of DIY touring with the likes of Aklas and Go Smoke Mary all around the Philippine Archipelago bringing along his songs coming from his “I Have no Equipment Cause I’m Poor: A Compilation of Eclectic Chatter” tape that released in the last days of 2018.
Now coming out with a collaborative effort with Six the Northstar called “Optics”, he seeks to push the limits of the content of hiphop projects in the Philippines by bringing a more ambitious approach to creating and structuring albums that re-invent the standards of single releases, opting the production of more conceptual works.
