The album "Resirkulerte Rim og Regler" (2022): Elin Furubotn brings new life to the old norwegian folk songs, rhymes, and rules that her grandmother sang to her when she was a child. A rich collection of traditional Norwegian songs dating back to the 16-1700s have inspired her to create a brand-new mix of music. A new soundscape, blending traditional Nordic folk music instruments with the sounds of global instruments from around the world.
Elin sings about the little episodes in everyday life. She sings about hope and tells us that a few scratches from life won´t hurt you, that’s ok, so don’t be too serious, you don’t need to be perfect, worrying never helps us anyway, so don’t forget to play.
Elin has also previously worked with Norway´s king of pop Morten Abel, The Stavanger Symphony orchestra.
