My new EP “A Place I Recognise” is yours. This whole project comes from a time in my life that’s been very transformative. I had to make some hard but necessary choices, leaving behind parts of my life that no longer felt like home including communities, relationships, and even Stockholm itself. I had spent so long feeling emotionally scattered and honestly just tired. I knew I needed to choose something else - stability, health, happiness - even if it meant starting over.
“Waiting Room” kind of sits at the heart of this EP. It’s about that space between what was and what’s next. It’s about standing still, longing for your life to really begin and hoping that the right person or the right moment will arrive and make things make sense. It’s that quiet, almost invisible ache of waiting, but also the hope that something more genuine and more true is out there.
Making this EP has been a way of finding my way back to something that feels real. Not perfect, just real. A sense that I’m finally building a life that’s mine, from the inside out.
