Eliyahu is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges Middle Eastern, Indian, and African-American musical traditions. Deeply devoted to his craft, he has studied and performed Middle Eastern folkloric and spiritual music, Hindustani raga, and styles including jazz, soul, and funk.

He is the founder of The Qadim Ensemble, a groundbreaking project uniting diverse Middle Eastern musical traditions. The ensemble’s CD reached #7 on Billboard’s World Music charts, reflecting Eliyahu’s commitment to cross-cultural musical dialogue.

Eliyahu performs on ney flutes (Persian, Turkish, and Arabic), Indian bansuri, upright bass, and oud. Trained by master musicians including G.S. Sachdev, Neyzen Ömer Erdoğdular, Reggie Workman, Arnie Lawrence, and Makanda Ken McIntyre. He performs nationwide as a solo artist and with The Qadim Ensemble, captivating audiences from intimate settings to major concert halls.
