Ellis Berry

Ellis Berry is a British singer-songwriter borrowing styles from a variety of genres such as folk, hip-hop and pop to produce open and honest 'storytelling' songs.


Born in Southport, England, Ellis picked up a guitar at a young age but it wasn't until he started university that he started to compose life events and experiences into music. Following graduation, and a relocation to Southampton, Ellis became a familiar face at small local gigs and open mics performing acoustic sets with a guitar and a loop station to blend rhythmic guitar melodies and harmonic vocals.


In 2020 Ellis started recording his first EP 'Cabin Fever', referencing the UK COVID-19 lockdown period, which is to be released in 2020. His first three singles from the EP; 'Our Story', 'New Friend' and 'The Way We Used To' were released in August - October 2020 which were welcomed a large wave of positive feedback and all featured on BBC Radio Solent Introducing.


Ellis has recently released his latest single ‘Long Way To Go’ ahead of his upcoming second EP release.
