Elocin Cole is a multifaceted singer/songwriter & producer hailing from San Francisco, California. Elocin got her start in the Bay-area music scene where she started getting involved in a community space called “The DJ project” where they taught her how to hone her craft in songwriting and recording music in a studio. Later on, she joined a hip-hop/R&B group where her and her group would record an album, performing it at local venues around the Bay-Area.
Shortly after the group disbanded, she started her solo path, working with various producers and starting to build her catalog for a debut album, which she released in 2014. The album, called “Metanoia”, was one of catharsis, allowing her to work through various mental, physical, and spiritual blocks she felt were inhibiting her full potential.
She decided to move to Los Angeles and, upon arriving, found herself with a renewed sense of inspiration, which led her to create her best work yet. “The Places We’ll Go”, Elocin Cole's latest EP, sees her taking a more hands-on role in the production/composition stages of every song, which lends itself to the intimacy of the project. Cole describes the project as, “An exercise in acceptance of being where you're at, and joy in the simplistic aspects of life.”
Elocin found a new positivity in her outlook on life. She wants her fans to feel encouraged to be themselves, however imperfect it may feel in the moment.
