Elphi

Elphi is a Singer, Songwriter, DJ and producer straddling both the dance and pop worlds effortlessly. Elphi’s sound pulls earworm pop melodies through an underground dance prism creating something totally fresh. Half English, half Irish, Elphi exists in the in-between. Often feeling like she doesn’t fit within one world alone has allowed her to forget boundaries. Her childhood was was filled with Irish stories of magic, fairies & the celebration of nature. But moving to London in her teens, she found herself immersed in the early PC music community, which seemed itself pulled from some other fairy world. In tandem she became immersed in the sound of industrial London raves, where she learned to DJ, which seemed to her, an intoxicating world away from her rural Irish roots. Her music explores this dichotomy. She presents a clash of childlike, ethereal, girlhood wonder through intoxicating pop hooks that shine over the industrial smack of London basement sound systems. Elphi brings the party in a unique way - & we’re in for an adventure.
