Elucidate is a Ambient Post Hardcore concoction hailing from Newark, NJ and was formed in the summer of 2019 in their drummer's garage. The quartet, Mars [vocals], Gabriel Cote [guitar], Becks Cristo [bass], and Chris Ochoa [drums] went on to record their first 3 singles, “Sleepless”, “Pull Me Under”, and “blurry” at The Lumberyard with Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard. During quarantine, Elucidate used that time to find a fresh new sound for the band that was fed by every member's genre influences such as Nu Metal, Shoegaze, and Grunge while still incorporating aspects of their old songs. Their singles “DISSOLVE” and “Perfectionist” (Ft. Hunter Young) from Moodring released in 2022 clearly exhibited the experimentation of those genres.
