emil is a multi-instrumental producer hailing from South East London.
Self-taught, and inspired by the likes of Iamnobodi, Soulection and Kaytranda, emil has started making waves on the music circuit. As a result of living in Vancouver (CA), growing his circle out to the edges of Los Angeles and exploring the North American circuit, emil learnt various production techniques along the way which he used to build the foundation of his craft.
In 2020, emil graced the public with his debut self-composed EP ‘Ambrosia’ with the intention of making a statement to display his talents and attract notable artists to work with - it did exactly that. As a producer releasing no previous music, this project was his true debut release resulting in a new-found fanbase, artist attention & a niche in the UK.
Following the release of his debut, came an influx of artist collaborations such as Doja Cat, Noname, Mick Jenkins, Saba, Ghetts, Sampha, Kano, Wretch 32, Potter Payper, Loyle Carner, Knucks, A2, Wesley Joseph, Rex Life Raj and more!
Whilst emil’s range is wide, his general genre and style tend to lean towards Soul, R&B & Hip Hop.
