Emilie Culshaw is an 19 year old singer-songwriter based in Liverpool, UK. Emilie is an indie pop artist influenced by RnB/soul, blues, country and rock. She is known for her highly emotional storytelling music and tender vocals. As a child she loved taking part in music lessons and performing arts.
Around 11 was when she started taking music more seriously and was sure it was what she wanted to do. Growing up, Emilie was inspired by artists such as Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga and Adele for their range and powerful vocals. Her Dad was also a huge inspiration as he was always playing and creating music in the house, sharing stories about his experiences gigging around Liverpool when he was young. Something which inspires her songwriting is her past experiences and mental health struggles. she is passionate about spreading awareness and helping people through her music and by sharing her journey. She is currently working with producers Mark Moncrieff and Terry Gaters from Emergent Shores on melodic progressive house music. Whilst also preparing her debut EP!
She was recently featured on the Liverpool Community Podcast, the Big Condo Records radio show on Islington Radio in London, supported big condo records on tour for 2 dates and performed at the big condo records weekender 2024!
