I'm just me, drinking my fourth ill-advised coffee of the day, wondering as I type if you guys hate reading this BS as much as we artists hate writing it. My name is Emmi. Short for Emily. Long for Em.
I live in NY. But I'm half Brit/ half Aussie so yeah, my accent is wild.
I write songs. Sometimes for other artists. Sometimes for me.
(If you're here to know what the latter sounds like, I'd start with my artist pick, the 'Players' playlist, my new album in progress where each song is inspired by a different Shakespeare character. Don't worry. No knowledge or love of Shakespeare required. They're just songs about being human, and what a beautiful and terrible thing that can be.)
