Forever a student of wonder and feeling, singer-songwriter / producer Brian Lenington, a.k.a. EMOTIONA, embraced moments of isolation in 2020 and began to tell his story on YouTube. Dubbed "The EMOTIONA Project", the videos were a deep dive into his creative process and Melodic Bass signature, along with a detailed look at how he reimagined three of his younger influences: Nirvana, ODESZA, and Florence & The Machine.
An unofficial remix of Tate McCrae's You Broke Me First followed and heading into 2021, EMOTIONA announced his first original song Goodbye To The Year- an electronic anthem inspired by Porter Robinson and ILLENIUM. That same year also brought a fiery collaboration with heavy-bass powerhouse SWARM with their song Synchronize - which has been showcased at festivals such as Lost Lands and Bass Canyon, as well as a feature in the massive online shooter FORTNITE.
Recently a new chapter has opened - with EMOTIONA taking the stage across the United States, opening for larger artists such as Trivecta, Kaivon, Notaker, Au5, and Chime. His fusing together of multiple worlds in electronic music have drawn attention, while developing a unique performance featuring live vocals, cello, and piano.
