SKUM is an electronic production & artist duo based in Stockholm. Their style revolves around merging cinematic themes with hard hitting and distorted bass sounds as an exploration of their perspective on modern society. Sources of inspiration range from the electro music scene of the early 2000's to video game soundtracks to old cult sci-fi adventure movies.
With the release of their 2020 collaboration <a href="spotify:track:0MfropleMNGjYh56lbdkHM" data-name="Hysteria">Hysteria</a> together with fellow Swede <a href="spotify:artist:1ldNdtZX38LAsOk0ciLvb2" data-name="F.O.O.L">F.O.O.L</a> through Monstercat the duo laid the foundation for their artistic direction to come. They have since collaborated with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:2KrXlzpSX4wWvJ2555FWLv" data-name="Le Castle Vania">Le Castle Vania</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5mVWu2Ofpm2mlEpuMm3b4Q" data-name="KUURO">KUURO</a> as they continue exploring their style.
Following a brief hiatus from production they are looking to cement their brand 2023 through exciting deals and releasing new music. The spring season was kicked off with a massive synch deal, placing their music in the game Fortnite.
