Formed in 2013 by Nimrod Gorovich, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:0JVAW5Cg3z7glg5p4EbiR1" data-name="Gorovich">Gorovich</a>, and Dekel Kamiosky, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:5QjwI21mbWUU3uiWtjM6Lc" data-name="Dekel">Dekel</a>, their unique sound and groundbreaking style blends new wave with progressive psy and uplifting psytrance.
Growing up together in a small village in northern Israel, Nimrod and Dekel's music is inspired by authentic tribal beats, psychedelic experiences, nature, and most of all: The joy of creating music. EMPIRIKAL's debut track "<a href="spotify:track:0jNHFd7GZ0n2lz9vq2B7cV" data-name="Dark Angel - Original Mix">Dark Angel - Original Mix</a>" was released in 2014 on a compilation by legendary psytrance label TIP Records and immediately caught the attention of the entire psychedelic scene. Their second track, "<a href="spotify:track:1PxHfRVEkpwxSUeVNoZkTR" data-name="Good Q">Good Q</a>", was released in 2015 on Iboga Records, followed by their first EP "<a href="spotify:album:5CyT3A4q7pm8BbExwdMj3F" data-name="Psy Spy EP">Psy Spy EP</a>", also in 2015 on TIP Records.
