Ene hails from a small village deep in the forests of Norway, where it came to life slowly in the mind of its creator Erik E. as a void grew bigger and needed to be filled.
In 2020, by late summer, preparations and composing of songs began, and in 2021 the debut album "Lang Kald Natt" was released by Hellstain Productions. Musically the debut is both harsh and melodic, mirroring the brutality and beauty in nature itself, lyrically dealing with dark forests, old folklore, destruction and spirituality… and The One.
In 2023 the second album "Et Alter Av Forakt» was released, a natural next step musically, while still focusing on primitive and atmospheric Black Metal. «Et Alter Av Forakt» shines with a far more refined production, but holds the same cold and desperate feelings. Lyrically, the tracks describe the souls of a lost world, where our purpose and existence is fragile and perhaps equally lost.
