Enginetail is a young five-piece band that bridges the gap between rock and metal. They describe their style as a mix of metalcore and prog with a pinch of Beethowen. This mixture presents itself with heavy, yet melodic riffs and groovy breakdowns accompanied by opera singing. They however do know how to step on that double pedal and scream too.
The group formed in May 2022 but took on their current form in October 2023 with the addition of their singer. It was only then that the group made their first appearance on stage. Just in 2024 they played no less than 15 shows across some of the biggest stages on Slovenia’s west. On 28th of March 2025 they released their debute single, Decaying Fields and are currently recording their first full length album.
Band is also active in a self-organised non-profit organisation for gig exchanges named Škalonja.
