This singer and songwriter has been in the music biz for over three decades and her private life is a whirlwind of headlines and something of a "Who's who in metal "with f. e ex-husband Yngwie Malmsteen.
In 1990 she released her debutalbum "Cold winter night" and had a string of hits including classic chart topper TOGETHER WE’RE LOST.
This was followed by sold out tours where several shows had to be cut short due to the crowds forcing through the crush barriers.
Erika's second album "In the arms of a stranger" 1991 also produced several hits . After that came t "Lady Luck" released in 1993, her fourth album "Planet X" in 1997 and the fifth album "Ripe" in 1998 , followed by a Japanese greatest hits album SUPERTRAX. Her sixth album, "Deaf, dumb & blonde" in 2016, included co- writes etc from menbers from bands such as Europe, In Flames and Candlemass.
2020 was the 30 year jubilee of Erika´s recording career and the release of her seventh album @REMEDY FOR SOBRIETY.
June 28 2024 @PRAISE THE LOUD the long awaited first song from the forthcoming album @UNITED STATES OF ERIKA was released. August 23 single two: @CHOKING ON MY SILVERSPOON . October 11 single three , powerballad @SUGARCOATED was out of its’ cage and the bonustrack @HELL AND BACK TO YOU reared its’ head January 24.
