ESCALANDRUM, one of the finest jazz band from Argentina. Led by Daniel "Pipi" Piazzolla, grandson of the late great tango artist Astor Piazzolla. The group has earned international recognition through performances in renowned music festivals, like Folk and Arts International Festival China, Montreal International Festival “La Niut Blanche”, Worldstock Festival Paris, Grec Festival Barcelona with Concha Buika as guest, La Villete Festival - Paris, VIC Festival in Barcelona, among others. The band was nominated for Grammy Latinos “Best Instrumental Artist” and has won several awards in Argentina, like the acclaimed GOLDEN GARDEL, given to the country’s finest artists. In addition, they have been recognized by the City of Buenos Aires as a Project of Cultural Interest, due to its significance to the country’s culture. The group will release the album "100" - Warner Music 2021, recorded at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, a tribute album to the centenary of Astor Piazzolla witch the best tangos by the bandoneón master in wonderful jazz versions.
