Esther Michael Emeh (Estar Mykel) is a seasoned musician who studied music and majored in voice at the Ballanta Academy of Music, Sierra Leone, in affiliation with the Royal school of Music, England. (ABRSM) and a vocal student at the Rozinka Arts School, in Freetown Sierra Leone under the tutorship of Dr. Joserly Beckley.
Esther Michael has some of her works gracing the screens across Africa.
She did the movie soundtrack and video for the movie 'Reflections ' nominated for best film for the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award 2015, produced by one of Africa’s renowned actors and director Desmond Elliot. She also sang the 2014 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award movie soundtrack, ‘Thontola’, which was produced in Malawi.
Esther was born into a Christian home, to a loving father and mother. Unfortunately, her mother died before she turned 14. She struggled through college and eventually dropped out, but she had one thing in mind, ‘no matter how elusive success is, I will lay my hands on it. She rose above all the discouragements and negativity around her. She took strength in music and the Arts; expressing her pain through writing, and inspiring people all over Africa. She is a young woman set to change her world and to inspire many other young women to be the best of themselves.
