Okay so here's the 411 on my 3 albums...in order. "Serenade" was written in a season of cheap thrills and promiscuity. SO glad God pulled me out of that thick cloud of shame! I cried a lot while making that album. "If I'm Honest" was written through an identity crisis. Moved to LA and tried to do the "music" thing...comparison got a big foothold and stole my joy for a long time. I cried a LOT making that album (like wayyy more than the others). Innocence and Broken still get the waterworks going. And then we have "CHARMED"! What a joy that album has been. You're probably asking yourself "what happened in between "If I'm Honest" and "Charmed"?" Well, I got healthy. At least healthier than I've ever been before...spiritually, emotionally, physically...the whole gamut. That's why the whole album is a love letter to God and not just me processing my mistakes. I quit booze for a year. I started a Youtube channel to teach people how to make music (just look up Ethan Davis on Youtube if you want to learn LOL). I slowed down and surrendered everything I was holding onto SO tightly...all the dreams I was trying to build on my own. I said "God, I don't want to do this alone anymore. I only want to do things WITH you." Since then things have improved a lot. Would recommend! Lately, more than anything, the love of God has me feeling "Charmed".
