Ethereal Corpus is a one man Atmospheric Post-Black metal project from Philadelphia, PA. He has sited his influences to include: Downfall of Nur, Black Sabbath, Alcest, Public Service Broadcasting, GodSpeed You! Black Emperor, and Darkthrone among others. He has been putting out music since mid 2017 ranging sonically from Black Metal to Doom Metal. Ethereal Corpus sound has changed quite a bit since his first release, "Dead by Dawn" to YouTube in 2017. This song being inspired by the Evil Dead franchise and had a more classic black metal approach. Another single song followed months later with "Of Black Forests I Fall". With this endeavor his tone changed to more of a atmospheric black metal feel. Then "Where Bleak Souls Die" drastically shifted to mix of doom metal and black metal. All songs were compiled into a Demo tape titled "Leave Us". In his spare time he is also an avid photographer and hiker, his work can be seen on the cover of the latest single; as well as his Instagram. Ethereal Corpus released his first EP, "Realms Ethereal 1 EP" on June 19th, 2020
