aespa、LE SSERAFIM、NiziU、MISAMO、BE:FIRST、SixTONESなど、ジャンルを超えた高い音楽性と国際的視点で、国内外のトップアーティストのヒット曲を多数手掛けるALYSAがプロデューサーを務める新レーベルO21より、「自分らしくありたい」に寄り添う音楽ジャンル“LOOSE POPS”を掲げるanri, chiharu, koyuki, mirano, pia, shion, yuzuki からなる7人組クリエイティブガールグループ Ettone（エトネ）デビュー。1stシングル「U+U」（ユーアンドユー）は、目の前の“君”だけでなく「過去の自分」と「未来の自分」へ贈るメッセージソング。後悔を抱えた昨日も、まだ見ぬ明日も、今の私がつないで救い合える、聴く人それぞれの“君”に届くようにと、そんな願いがタイトルに込められており、メンバーそれぞれのリアルな過去の経験から歌詞とコレオグラフィーを制作。ハーモニーは日本の合唱曲から着想し、作曲はALYSAと数々のK-POPアーティストを手がけるJacob Aaron、作詞はシンガーソングライターのSIRUPが担当している。
