Eux Autres are a brother-sister duo, based in Portland, OR, and comprised of Heather and Nicholas Larimer, whose wry, summery, irrepressibly fun indie pop songs nod to <a href="spotify:artist:4C6aTpsTzZASFFVwa7uhfL">Saturday Looks Good to Me</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5PR2gJNMKb3nma8QuTRjie">the Brunettes</a>. Their debut EP, a three-track affair, largely in French, called Partick Nil, was released on their homemade label, <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Bons+Mots+Music%22">Bons Mots Music</a>, in 2003, and they followed it up with a Christmas single, Another Christmas at Home, before the year was out. The duo's debut full-length, Hell Is Eux Autres, co-recorded by ex-<a href="spotify:artist:4wLIbcoqmqI4WZHDiBxeCB">Sleater-Kinney</a> drummer Janet Weiss, emerged the following year, and went on to be re-released on Montreal's <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Grenadine+Records%22">Grenadine Records</a> in 2006. Boosted by the positive reviews of that album, Eux Autres were picked up by the Athens-based label <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Happy+Happy+Birthday+to+Me%22">Happy Happy Birthday to Me</a> for their second full-length, Cold City, which hit stores in 2007. In 2008, the duo added drummer Yoshi Nakamoto (ex of <a href="spotify:artist:3hhbHynBIT7ulyfJfrDKLt">the Aislers Set</a>) to the lineup. After releasing a series of singles and EPs in 2008 and 2009, the group's third album, Broken Bow, arrived in late 2010 on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Bons+Mots+Records%22">Bons Mots Records</a>. The album was also given a U.K. release by the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Where+It%27s+at+Is+Where+You+Are+%22">Where It's at Is Where You Are </a>label.
