Swampmeat emerged from the Coldrice scene (Birmingham, UK) inhabited by the likes of Copter, Big Bang, Table Scraps and many other deplorable reprobates. Danny C and T-Bird recorded two long players in the coming years (Double Dutch & Moonshine and Camp Heartbreak) and graced many a stage from Birmingham to Brazil in their quest to preach the good word.
Danny C took a hiatus from the shores of Blighty for a while, writing, recording and touring with US outfit <a href="spotify:artist:4taNHtYxfIWIHu07FBw7ih" data-name="Low Cut Connie">Low Cut Connie</a>.
Now Danny C and T-Bird are joined in the trenches by Mr. Richard March (<a href="spotify:artist:5rIXueJu7zVE2gDZjUM6g8" data-name="Pop Will Eat Itself">Pop Will Eat Itself</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:28EZh7WvdbWwfOrf5lkvCk" data-name="Bentley Rhythm Ace">Bentley Rhythm Ace</a>) and Tommy Hughes (<a href="spotify:artist:6aHRvFp7Aike0b4IIXmjZc" data-name="Terror Watts">Terror Watts</a>) creating Swampmeat Family Band. SFB released their debut LP <a href="spotify:album:3JKvrj0zjPuX2bCbPwmMJ9" data-name="Too Many Things to Hide">Too Many Things to Hide</a> in spring 2018 on PNKSLM Recordings to critical acclaim.
