Evan Perich picked up his first guitar at eleven, and he’s been chasing melodies ever since. Growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he discovered that songwriting was more than a hobby—it was how he made sense of the world and connected with others.
After a brief stop in the corporate world, Evan followed his calling down I-75 South to Nashville, trading boardrooms for barrooms and earning his place on Broadway stages while waiting tables to keep the dream alive. That road—both literal and figurative—inspired the title of his brand-new album, 75 South, a collection that reflects his journey between his hometown roots and his music home in Nashville. The record includes four never-before-released songs, each one carrying the warmth of his pop-country melodies and the heart of his storyteller’s soul.
Over the past six years, Evan has honed a sound rooted in the feel-good spirit of Hootie & the Blowfish and the heartfelt storytelling of Darius Rucker, blending catchy hooks with lyrics that feel like a conversation with an old friend. With several releases already to his name, 75 South marks a turning point—an artist fully stepping into his voice, authentic, genuine, and grateful for every stage he gets to play.
“I’m not sure where this guitar will lead me,” Evan says, “but I know I’ll always be playing it.” And for Evan, that’s exactly where the magic is.
